How to Return an Item Purchased on Amazon


All returns must be initiated directly through Amazon. Vital Edge Instruments LLC does not accept unsolicited returns.


Step 1: Initiate the Return on Amazon

  1. Log in to your Amazon account.
  2. Navigate to Your Orders.
  3. Select the order containing the item you wish to return.
  4. Click Return or Replace Items.
  5. Choose the appropriate return reason and submit the request.

Amazon will generate return instructions and, if applicable, a return shipping label.


Step 2: Review Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return:

  • The return request must be submitted within Amazon’s authorized return window.
  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging, including all seals, labels, and documentation.
  • Products that are opened, used, altered, or partially consumed may not be eligible for return due to hygiene and safety standards.

Certain healthcare consumables may be classified by Amazon as non-returnable once opened.


Step 3: Package the Item Securely

  • Place the item in its original packaging.
  • Include all accessories, inserts, and documentation.
  • Affix the Amazon-provided return label clearly on the package.
  • Ship the return using the method specified by Amazon.


Step 4: Ship Within the Required Timeframe

  • Returned items must be shipped within the timeframe specified by Amazon after return authorization.
  • Returns shipped outside this window may be declined or subject to reduced refunds.


Refund Processing

  • Once the returned item is received and inspected, refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days.
  • Refunds are issued to the original method of payment in accordance with Amazon policies.
  • Items returned in a condition that does not meet eligibility requirements may receive a partial refund or no refund, as permitted by Amazon.


Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  1. Initiate the return through Amazon as outlined above.
  2. Select the appropriate reason during the return request.
  3. Amazon will guide you through replacement or refund options.


Important Notes for Healthcare Consumables

  • For safety and regulatory reasons, opened or used healthcare consumables are generally not eligible for return unless defective or damaged upon arrival.
  • Vital Edge Instruments LLC does not collect or require medical or personal health information as part of the return process.
